The upcoming TVS bike series are targeted towards urban commuters and women riders, with a focus on safety features, battery life, smooth ride quality, convenient engine switching and smartphone connectivity.

The company has stated that they have made investments towards R&D worth Rs 2700 crore ($430 million) over the next three years.

TVS will set up two centres for the development of motorbike technologies in the US and Japan, said company director Venu Natarajan. The idea is to take customer feedback at all times, he added.

New reports confirm the company is currently working on the Super Meteor 650,

which will be available sometime in 2022. The bike is going to be powered by a four-stroke fuel-injected, oil-cooled 650cc engine.

There’s no word yet on how much horsepower it will produce or what gearbox it’ll use, but this bike should suit most beginners looking for their first bike who have a smaller budget to work with

 

Simple Energy One Electric Scooter

 

 

The Indian government has set the target of making two-wheelers the primary mode of transportation by 2020.

With that objective on their minds, auto manufacturers are upping their game and designing new vehicles specifically for the Indian market.

One such company is Simple Energy who unveiled a prototype of its new electric scooter. The bike is called The One and has a max speed of 60 km/h and range up to 80km.

It features a high visibility yellow design with upgraded brake pads, tires and seats for improved grip, comfort and ease-of-use.

On the technical side, it includes an LED headlight and taillight, smart battery management system with overcharge protection and regenerative braking.

 

BMW F900XR [2023]

 

 

This is BMW’s response to the influx of adventure-style motorcycles. The F900XR is built on a frame made out of aluminum,

which will give riders a much more agile, lightweight and compact ride. With improved electronics and power, this bike promises exciting performance while still offering versatility and comfort.

A projected release date for the F900XR is mid-2023.

It is predicted that production will start with just 10 units per month, but as time goes on that number should go up to 40 units per month.
